Camp Staff
Session Directors
GVBC is unique among other church camps in that each week is overseen by a different Session Director and group of Counselors, ranging from college-age students to adults of all ages—many of whom were campers themselves! Session Directors guide the spiritual focus of the week and oversee the schedule, activities, staff, and overall flow of camp. Your camper will be truly blessed by the diverse ages, backgrounds, and life experiences of the leaders who care for them throughout the week.
Week 1
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Benjamin Treme
Youth Minister, Bentonville Church of Christ
I am thankful to be serving as a Director at Green Valley Bible Camp! After attending Harding University for undergrad (B.A. Management & Ministry) and working in the Admissions Office as a traveling recruiter for 4 years, I am thankful to be in full-time ministry.
Church camp has always been a pivotal part of my life. For teens, specifically, this can be a life-changing experience. I take very seriously the challenge to embrace teens where they are, challenge growth in their own faith, and then to disciple others!
Excited to see how God moves at GVBC!

OVERNIGHT CAMP
Youth Minister, Bentonville Church of Christ
I grew up going to Green Valley Bible Camp and it holds a very special place in my heart. It gave me the opportunity to build a strong foundation for my faith and is where I gave my life to Christ through baptism. God led me to Bentonville Church of Christ, where I have been serving for 4 years!
Church camp can be life changing; I know it was for me. I want to help create an impactful experience for campers that will allow their faith to grow. I’m very excited to serve as a Co-Director.
DAY CAMP
Kirk Harris
Bentonville Church of Christ
Hi, my name is Kirk Harris. I’m a 43-year member of the Bentonville Church of Christ and a proud GVBC alum. From my earliest Day Camp memories all the way through my Overnight Camp years. I’ve also had the blessing of serving as a Day Camp Counselor for three years. I have a deep passion for helping people find God and for investing in children’s ministries. I’m grateful, excited, and truly honored to serve as Day Camp Director this year. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for all of us!
Week 2
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Danny Boggs
Hillcrest Church of Christ
Danny Boggs has been preaching the gospel for 35 years and has worked with the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Neosho, Missouri since 2005. He became a Christian after a pivotal week at Bible camp in 1982. He has worked in bible camps for more than three decades.
2026 will be Danny’s 22nd year at Green Valley Bible Camp and 16th as Director of Week 2. He loves helping young people become Christians and grow as disciples of Christ. He is really thankful for a great group of faithful Christian counselors who love kids and work hard to make sure they build faith, make friends, and have fun at camp.

Week 3
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Chris Brill
Youth & Family Minister, Mountain Home Church of Christ
I have been serving as the Family/Youth Minister for the Mountain Home Church of Christ since 2019. I also teach Bible for the Mountain Home Christian Academy High School.
My connection to Green Valley Bible Camp goes back to 1990, when I began serving in various roles such as lifeguard, camp assistant, and Week 7 counselor. GVBC has played a formative role in my spiritual journey through the influence of many Christlike individuals—especially Bobby and Loreta Vaughn (former Camp Director) and Bill and Kay McFarland (former Session Director)—who deeply impacted my faith, and my marriage. Together, Shirley and I are blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.
Week 4
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Beau Foster
Youth & Family Minister, Center Street Church of Christ
I love Green Valley! I spent 6 incredible years as a camper at Robb Hadley's sessions. I fondly remember singing at the amphitheater, eating soft-serve ice cream, playing softball, and walking up the hill. After graduating from camp in 2019, I studied communication at Arkansas Tech University. I returned to Green Valley as a counselor in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, I was trusted with more responsibilities when I became the Youth and Family Minister for the Center Street Church of Christ. As a Counselor, I was reunited with an old friend, who became the love of my life! I asked Madi Erickson "up the hill" with a ring pop; the rest is history. We were married in May 2025.
Green Valley holds a special place in my heart, and I am beyond excited to serve as the Session Director for Week 4. I can't wait to make new memories and have an incredible time at camp!
Week 5
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Scot & Beth Wiles
Robinson Church of Christ
Scot and Beth are members of the Robinson Church of Christ. Beth works for Lincoln Elementary School as a 2nd grade teacher and Scot works for Ozarks Electric in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Scot and Beth have two children. Scot has a long history with GVBC as a camper, Counselor, Board Member and now Co-Director of Week 5 Overnight and Day Camps. Beth got to know GVBC in 2011 when their oldest child started going to day camp. They love GVBC because their kids LOVE it and they want all kids to have that same experience. As a family they have spent countless hours at camp working and serving to make GVBC into a great place for all kids to grow closer to Christ and others.
“Like many of you we do not know if we can narrow down what GVBC means to us into a few words or even a paragraph. GVBC is a place to learn more about your relationship with Christ, listen to God through the beauty around you, and grow your faith in God through others (life-long friendships). We look forward to seeing you out at camp this summer and have been praying for you and your kids daily.”
DAY CAMP
Hope Evans
Children and Families Minister, West Ark Church of Christ
I’ve been attending Craig Frost (now Scot and Beth Wiles) week at GVBC since I was about seven years old—staying in a cabin with my mom and spending my days at day camp. GVBC has always been one of my favorite places, and I’m so grateful for the memories and faith roots it helped build in me.
Now, as the Children & Families Minister at West Ark Church of Christ, I’m excited to help make GVBC just as special for the next generation. I’m passionate about helping kids discover the joy of walking with God, and I can’t wait to be a small part of your child’s faith journey!
Week 6
OVERNIGHT & DAY CAMP
Marshall Brown
Lead Minister, Flagstone Church of Christ
I’ve been the lead minister at the Flagstone Church in Bentonville, Arkansas since we planted in 2010. Prior to that, I spent 15 years on the ministry staff at the Southside Church in Rogers, Arkansas. Since July 1983, I have spent at least a week (sometimes multiple weeks) of every consecutive summer at GVBC as either a camper, Counselor, or Director. My three adult sons were out at camp, with my wife Kristy and I, when they were in diapers. Kristy serves on the Board as well.
So Green Valley has held a special place in my heart and the hearts of my family for a long time. I’ve witnessed many of the physical transformations to the camp facilities over the past few decades, and I’ve witnessed the countless spiritual transformations that have taken place in the lives of campers and Counselors over the years as well.
Any campers that come to our session are going to have a ton of fun! They’re going to know that they are loved and accepted no matter what. They are going to discover for the first time or rediscover a relationship with Jesus. And they are going to leave at the end of the week better prepared to go home and be the people God is shaping them into.
Week 7
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Alonzo Rojo
Youth Minister, Robinson Avenue Iglesia de Cristo
I was born in Rogers, Arkansas, and have lived in Northwest Arkansas my whole life. I am happily married to Megan Rojo, and together we have three amazing kids.
For the past 10 years, I’ve had the blessing of serving as the Youth Minister at Robinson Avenue Iglesia de Cristo. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games and watching Bluey with my kids.
I’ve also had the honor of being a Counselor at Week 9 for about 6–7 years. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve and grow with Week 9 each summer. This year, I’m especially excited that we’re continuing our bilingual week! My hope is that every youth who comes will feel completely at home.
Week 8
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Jake King
Preacher, Seneca Church of Christ
I am the preacher for the Seneca Church of Christ in Seneca, Missouri. Prior to that, I preached for the 26th and Connecticut Church of Christ in Joplin. I am a graduate of the East Tennessee School of Preaching. My wife Jessica and I have three kids.
I have a long history with GVBC as a camper, Counselor and co-Director. I think that three words that describe GVBC well are faith, fellowship, and fun!
OVERNIGHT CAMP
Will King
Deacon, Seneca Church of Christ
I am a Deacon for the Seneca Church of Christ in Seneca, Missouri. I have worked with youth in the church and in my profession for over 25 years. I just completed my 25th year in the education business where I currently serve as a principal, but have served as a teacher and a coach as well. My wife Lisa and I have three kids and four grandkids.
I have attended Green Valley Bible Camp for over 30 years with many amazing memories. It truly is a special place that continually gives a spiritual uplift!
Week 9
OVERNIGHT & DAY CAMP
Scott Ware
Robinson Avenue Church of Christ
Hello, my name is Scott Ware and I'm a member at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale, Arkansas and a Deacon over our Youth. GVBC is a special place to me. I grew up attending as a camper. I committed my life to Christ in baptism while attending Green Valley Bible Camp many years ago.
Now I’m thrilled that in some small way I can help give that same incredible experience to campers today. If you’ve never been to Green Valley you HAVE to come join us. I promise you will love it!
High School Retreat
Andy Brazle
Southside Church of Christ
I grew up in Ozark, Missouri and went to Harding University where I studied Bible. I worked as a youth minister in Artesia, New Mexico with the Hermosa Dr. Church of Christ for 4 years. I then moved to Rogers, Arkansas to work with the Southside Church of Christ three days before the Rogers week session of Green Valley in 2005 and I fell in love with GVBC right away.
Some of the greatest events in my life occurred at church camp from my baptism at a camp in Kansas to both meeting and later marrying my wife Megan at Green Valley. I think that this camp is one of the greatest opportunities in existence to come closer to God alongside other amazing young people who are trying to do the same.
Camp Manager
Bill Brunkhardt
It is truly a privilege for me to serve as the manager of Green Valley Bible Camp. My wife, Kim, and I have called Northwest Arkansas home for 30 years, and our hearts have been filled with love for Green Valley since our two children had the wonderful opportunity to attend camp here. Now, we are blessed with two grandchildren whom we hope will also experience the joy of Green Valley.
Green Valley Bible Camp holds a special place in our hearts. Its significance stems from its rich history, the lifelong friendships it fosters, and, most importantly, the seeds of faith it plants in the hearts of our children each year. I have had the honor of being a Counselor at Green Valley for over 20 years, and each summer, I witness the amazing individuals who come together to make this camp a truly extraordinary place.
I am excited to work with the Green Valley Bible Camp Board, staff, local congregations, parents, and children to create an environment where children can encounter God and enjoy the best camp experience possible. I invite you to join me in prayer for Green Valley in the upcoming months.
Looking forward to seeing you this summer!
