Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know for Camp
Camp Registration
-
Registration typically opens in March. However, for the 2026 season, we’re aiming to open as early as January — stay tuned for updates!
-
Never! Registration never closes. However, a $25 late fee applies if you register within less than a week from the start of your camp session.
-
All campers under 18 must have their registration completed by a parent or legal guardian. This ensures we have the proper consent and emergency contact information to keep campers safe. Any camper under 18 who registers themselves will have their registration deleted and will lose their spot for that week until an adult completes the registration under their name.
-
The quickest and easiest way to correct a mistake is by logging back into the camper registration system and editing your information. If you encounter any issues, please contact the Registrar for assistance.
-
Unfortunately, each camper must be registered by their parent or legal guardian. However, many churches use our discount code system to cover the cost. Parents or guardians can register their camper individually and enter a church-provided discount code that applies a set dollar amount or percentage off the total. The church is then billed after camp to cover the discounted amount. To set this up, please contact the Registrar.
Camp Prep and Check-In
-
Yes! A suggested packing list is available here to help you prepare for camp.
-
Each Session Director will email details specific to your camper’s session — including the theme and any dress-up days — no later than the Wednesday before your session begins. This information will be sent to the email address used during registration.
-
Counselors will help ensure medications are taken at the correct times, following the instructions provided by a parent or guardian. Some camp sessions may also have a nurse, EMT, or other medical professional serving as a Counselor to oversee proper medication administration. There will be an opportunity during check-in to discuss your child’s medication needs in detail.
-
During registration, you'll have the option to list cabin requests. We do our best to accommodate these, but please note that campers must be within two years of age to be placed in the same cabin. Example: If two campers are 15 and 17, the 17-year-old would be placed in the younger cabin group in order to honor the request.
-
Check-in on Sundays is from 3:00-5:00pm. We do not open earlier to ensure that all necessary staff are present and prepared to assist you.
-
Once you arrive, camp staff will provide your camper’s cabin assignment and canteen card, and will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please note that campers may not move in before they check-in, and cabin assignments are not released prior to this time. Don’t forget to bring any medications your camper needs for check-in.
During Camp
-
The decision on whether campers may bring or use a phone or tablet is made by each Session Director. Please check with your Session Director for specific guidelines.
-
To get in touch with your camper during their week at camp or send mail, visit the Contact Your Camper page for mailing instructions and additional details.
-
For the safety of our campers, daytime visits are generally not permitted. All adults working with campers during the week have undergone background checks, so visitors would also need a background check to join during the day. However, we warmly welcome visitors to attend the nightly worship service each night. Please contact your Session Director for worship times and information about visiting camp outside of worship service hours.
-
Campers receive three meals a day, included as part of the registration fee. If your camper has specific dietary restrictions or food allergies, please refer to our Rules and Safety page under the Camper Safety section for detailed information and accommodation procedures.
-
Each camper receives one $10 canteen card, which is included in the registration fee. Beginning summer 2026, additional canteen cards will no longer be available for purchase.
