CAMP FEES

The fee for regular sessions of camp is $90 per week, and includes cabin space, meals, Bible class materials, t-shirt, recreational equipment, and ten dollars of credit at the camp store. (The fee for day camp is $40 per week and the fee for high school retreat is $25, and these include all refreshments.) A $10 deposit is required to complete registration. A camper is not considered registered until the $10.00 deposit is received. The deposit should be mailed to:

Financial Assistance Available: Camperships are available to those who need financial assistance in coming. Requests for this should be addressed to the camp registrar. We do not want anyone to miss camp because of money!

REGISTRATION

To register for regular sessions, day camp or senior retreat go to www.greenvalleybiblecamp.com and then to the register heading. You can also print the brochure from the website and remove and fill out the application blank and mail to GVBC, P.O. Box 65, Rogers, Arkansas 72757. Unless you make special arrangements otherwise with the camp registrar, you must enclose a $10 deposit before a spot will be reserved for you!

Session Limits: Please note that regular sessions are limited to 80 boys and 90 girls and that day camp sessions are limited to 75 campers. So hurry up and send in your application!

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Regular sessions are for those who are 11 (by October 1 of this year!) through those who have just graduated from high school this spring. Day camp sessions are for children who have finished first grade through age 11. High school retreat is for those who will be in 10th-12th grades in September.

WHAT TO BRING FOR REGULAR SESSIONS

Bible, paper (notebook), pencil, toilet articles, towels, sheets, pillow, blankets, insect repellent (may come in handy), camera, flashlight, and ball glove (if desired).

Clothing: Bring play clothes (no tank tops, low cut garments, see-through tops, or bare midriffs), swim suit, and dress clothes for evening worship services. Remember, all clothing must be to the top of the knee.

INFORMATION FOR REGULAR SESSIONS

Check in between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. At that time, pay the balance of your fee ($80 after the deposit) and get your cabin assignment.

Departure: You will be expected to leave camp between 8:30 and 10:00 the following Saturday morning.

If this schedule cannot be met, you must make other arrangements with the camp director.

INFORMATION FOR DAY CAMPERS

Day Camp is four days long. The day begins at 8:30 and is over at 4:30. You will pay the balance of your fee ($30 after the deposit) on Monday, and all refreshments are included in the fee.

What To Bring: Bring a Bible, a clean towel, swim suit, pillow and something to lay on. Wear play clothes (see “Camp Rules”) you can get dirty.

CAMP RULES

The Board of Directors of Green Valley Bible Camp has passed the following rules and believes they are necessary to the running of an effective camp that will contribute to the spiritual welfare of the campers.

  1. Clothes must be modest. No tank tops, low cut garments, see-through tops, or bare midriffs. ALL clothing must be to the top of the knee. Suggestive logos or advertisment on clothing will not be tolerated.
  2. Boys and girls will not swim together; each will have a turn each day.
  3. Swimming suits must be modest.
  4. No tobacco, illegal, or controlled substances on the camp grounds.
  5. No pets allowed in cabins.
  6. No cell phones, radios, tape players, stereos, CD players, game gear, etc. Please do not bring these to camp.

THINGS OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO PARENTS

  1. Complete medical facilities are available in Rogers, 5 miles away.
  2. A staff of devoted Christian counselors, Bible teachers and recreation leaders will share in directing the program this year.
  3. Campers will receive personal attention from their counselors and other staff members throughout the week.
  4. Life guards are always on duty when campers are swimming.
  5. No camper is to leave the grounds at any time without the consent of the camp director.
  6. If camper must leave camp for sports or other activity he is required to return by 10 p.m. or between 6:30 and 7:30 the next morning so as not to disturb the rest of the campers during the night.
  7. Parents, please try to avoid picking up campers before Saturday morning. If camper must leave before Saturday, advance notice must be given to the camp director.
  8. No food is allowed in cabins. Campers should not bring snacks, etc. with them without special permission from co-director.
  9. Visitors are asked to come in the evening only. Please be on time to avoid disturbing camp activities. Worship services are at 7 P.M.
